The Srilanka KiteSchool is located on the peninsula of Kalpitya, (North West coast of Sri Lanka), 2hrs drive from the international airport of Colombo-Kutanayake. We can arrange transport from the airport to the kite kuda camp.

This peninsula, surrounded on one side by the Indian Ocean and on the other by Puttalam’s lagoon, is the perfect place for kitesurfing, with several spots for beginners as well as advanced riders.

We can provide fully catered accomodation for KiteSchool participants or advanced kiters in 6 comfortable newly built bungalows (with bathrooms) looking out onto the Indian Ocean. The team will cook delicious healthy meals with the fish, prawns and vegetables that come directly from the sea and gardens of the surrounding villages. Certified Instructors can give you Kitesurf courses –  Leo, Mischi, Todd and Mike are available to conduct IKO certified courses (for beginners as well as technique improvement for more advanced kiters). They can share their passion during beach sessions, and also guide you on ‘down wind’ expeditions or kite trips to desert islets.
